Our expert in design in Jewelry is Paolo Salamone. With over 25 years experience, he trained under Master Jeweler Ezio Oliverio, all the while honing in on his detail for modern design. Paolo has been awarded “Best of City” CINCINNATI MAGAZINE, most recently he’s be recognized by INSTORE/INDESIGN MAGAZINE as one of the Top Ten Standout Jewelers with Outstanding Character! Paolo A Modern Jeweler was formed by a group of design professionals in 1993. Paolo specializes in custom, modern jewelry design including platinum, gold, silver, diamond and gemstone jewelry. Paolo’s designs, while heavily influenced by the older Italian traditionalists on staff, are inspired by several younger designer/jewelers, graduates of the University of Cincinnati school of DAAP & the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts and the Gemologist Institute of America, keeping the modern design current with a new trend.
Paolo has won recognition as one of the premier jewelers in the region and was awarded the prestigious “Best Of City” CINCINNATI MAGAZINE, 2007 & has been recognized by INDESIGN/INSTORE Magazine as a Standout Jeweler! The Modern Jewelry Gallery moved to its current location in 2010, located in the historic Gaslight/Clifton district in Cincinnati, Ohio. The clean & modern atmosphere of the gallery set in the historic Gaslight/Clifton neighborhood, the stylish, yet approachable staff, along with a warm comfortable setting allows the clients to mingle through the modern designs while enjoying an espresso or a nice glass of wine.
