Air Force Singing Sergeants Seven-Day Tour in Ohio and Michigan

Captain David Regner will discuss The United States Air Force Band’s Singing Sergeant’s newest tour starting this week, June 18th. Singing Sergeants OfficialThe Singing Sergeants are only one part of the Air Force Band. Did you know that their performances are free to the public but require tickets? This is a seven-day community relations tour to Ohio and Michigan. The tour honors the service of Airmen, both past and present, and showcases Air Force excellence to communities across the midwestern part of the country. Captain Regner will also give the Air Force Band’s history, mission, and what to expect at a performance. The first stop on the  Midwest Tour is in Cincinnati, Ohio, at Christ Church Cathedral on  June 18 at 7:00 PM.  And in Dayton, Ohio on the 19th at 3:00 PM on Wed, June 19, 3 pm – 4 pm National Museum of the US Air Force. They will also perform in Michigan starting on the 20th in Detroit, then on the 21st in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and the 22nd in Holland, Michigan, Traverse City on the 23rd, and finally in Interlochen, Michigan, on the 24th of June. Michael Letts on What’s Next for Former President Donald Trump

Michael Letts will discuss what happened on Thursday, May 30th, when Former President Donald Trump became the first U.S. president to be convicted of a crime when a New York jury found him guilty of falsifying documents to cover up a payment to silence a porn star ahead of the 2016 election. After two days of deliberation, the 12-member jury pronounced Trump guilty on all 34 felony counts he faced. Michael discusses what options Trump’s attorneys have to appeal the jury’s decision in his opinion.

Michael also emphasizes the importance of civic engagement. He will encourage proactive steps, such as reaching out to congressmen and congresswomen to address critical issues. Danielle BorjaOur last guest is Danielle Borja, the President/CEO of the Conejo Valley Tourism Improvement District, the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Conejo Valley Community Foundation. Today, she will discuss why so many visitors travel to Conejo Valley, California, each year.  She will answer all of our questions, for instance- What is Conejo Valley, and where is it located? Danielle oversees the tourism efforts of Visit Conejo Valley, promotes overnight stays in Thousand Oaks and Agoura Hills at 16 different lodging properties, and leads one of the largest Chambers in California with over 900 business members. Under her leadership in 2020, the Chamber’s Foundation created the Conejo Valley Small Business Relief Fund in response to the pandemic, distributing nearly $100,000 micro-grants to small businesses.

Ms. Borja is part of the Tri-County Chamber Alliance, serves on the Board of Directors for Mobility 21, and is a member of the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) Global Land Use and Economic Council. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communications and a Master of Business Administration from California Lutheran University.
