Dr.  Stephanie Freeman is the founder and President of North Carolina University (NCU)–an accreditation-seeking institution soon to be located in Kittrell, North Carolina. NCU is a Minority Serving Institution (MSI) that was created to meet several pressing issues. Stephanie Freeman is an accomplished writer who has contributed to numerous publications—both mainstream and academic. She is also a former editor and writing consultant who has helped nationally-recognized writers and best-selling authors. Currently, she is completing a memoir entitled Life, Love, and Natural Disasters, and a novel turned fictionalized autobiography called Love Divided by Sperm. My next guest is Dr. Patrick Lyden a world-renowned stroke expert who has made significant contributions to the investigation and management of clinical research in stroke.
