Perry’s broadcasting journey kicked off in 1976 in Sacramento, CA, where he started as a traffic pilot reporter for KCRA. He then assumed the role of General Sales Manager and Pilot Reporter for KFBK. Fast forward to 1983, a pivotal year when Perry and his wife, Peggy, took a significant step by purchasing an AM radio station in Medford, Oregon. Little did they know that this would mark the inception of theDove’s incredible story.

Today, “theDove” has evolved into a media powerhouse, boasting a network of 14 radio outlets, 20 TV channels, and 7 cable outlets. Their coverage extends across vast regions, encompassing most of Oregon, Northern California, and Idaho. Beyond Perry’s illustrious broadcasting career, he has contributed significantly to the community. He served as the Chair of the Oregon Republican Party and founded the Pacific Bible College, demonstrating his dedication to both the media and his community.

Since its humble beginnings in 1983, theDove has emerged as a beacon of light for those seeking authentic Christian teachings. It’s not just a media platform; it’s a fellowship, a community where you can discover not only enriching content but also shared faith, shared journeys, and shared growth. “Darzik,” the newest addition to her collection, has garnered exceptional acclaim and achieved the remarkable feat of becoming an Amazon “#1 Hot New Release!” Despite her remarkable success in the literary world, Fionne also dedicates herself to the pulmonary and critical care medicine field. In March 2020, due to medical issues, Farraday was on mandatory medical leave and relieved of her duties and responsibilities. As an ardent reader, she soon exhausted her booklist and grew weary of television, ultimately leading her to conceptualize the story that would eventually become “KAIRN: Mates of the Alliance.”

Writing became her refuge, helping her navigate the demanding circumstances and providing a fictional haven of happy endings—a rare commodity in a Covid-19-infested ICU. Drawing from her medical background and with deep admiration for her family members who served in World War II and Vietnam, Farraday’s novels pay tribute to all medical and military personnel who make sacrifices that enable us to lead our lives.
