Dr. Meena SeshamaniOur next guest is CMS Director Dr. Meena Seshamani  MD, Ph.D., Director, Center for Medicare for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will discuss everything about the Medicare Open Enrollment period.  Medicare Open Enrollment began Friday, October 15th and people with Medicare have until Tuesday, December 7th to make changes to their health or prescription drug plans or select a new plan for 2022. Those who miss the deadline will likely have to wait a full year before they can make changes to their plan. So  People with Medicare can visit Medicare.gov, call 1-800-MEDICARE or contact the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) in each state.
